Armhole Success

The alteration worked! a sleeveless top that can be worn without revealing too much skin or bra - sometimes it is worth sticking with a pattern and getting it right.

  1. Julie, This is a big deal!!! Congrats! I never wear anything sleeveless because of the same issues - your success makes me want to figure it out.

    1. I was a little dubious about the alteration Tammy, and am so pleased that it worked. Now I can use this pattern to check other ones that I have, without the fear of ruining more fabric.

  4. Hi Julie. First of all, thank you for pointing out my silly error on my blog post. I fixed it.
You've been experiencing the same thing as I just did on a sleeveless rayon (I love rayon!) dress. It addded hours to what should have been a simple project but I was lucky enough to be able to fix the armholes as they weren't extremely low.
Your batik shirt looks great on you. Thank you for showing how you altered your pattern.
It isn't all that hot here in NB. Just 24 degrees which IMO is perfect.
